Sports-hall and exterior murals for Hawksmoor Youth Hub, designed and painted alongside graffiti workshops so the young people who use the building helped shape it.

The brief

Young Greenwich wanted the hub to feel like it belonged to the young people using it, inside and out.


Our approach

We ran graffiti and POSCA workshops with the young people, then turned their ideas into the artwork. Participants painted alongside the C-That team on the exterior walls.


The result

A 6m × 10m mural in the sports hall and around 250m² of exterior artwork, opened with the local mayor in attendance. It's a model for how we run youth programmes and community workshops.
